The Monarch Band and Colorguard ended their '08 marching season at
the Stockdale Band Spectacular with a 1st Place finish, making it 4
for 4 in 2008! This season the band has finished 1st in their
division for each competitive performance of their field show, The
Planets, at the Visalia Band Review, The Selma Band Review, the
Tiger Classic Band Review in Lemoore and the Stockdale Band
Spectacular in Bakersfield. Along the way they also picked up
1st place parade in Visalia, 3rd place parade in Selma, Best Music
and 1st place percussion in Lemoore and 3rd place percussion in
Visalia. This final performance concludes a busy week that
also included a parade and field show in Porterville on Veteran's
Day and the honor of being invited to perform the half time show for
the away game, to a very receptive crowd at CVC.

for our hometown Christmas parade in downtown Exeter and our
Christmas Concert at the EUHS auditorium on December 12. |
